SFM Public Relations Ins. was founded In 1992 by Stephanie Friedman as an entertainment and general public relations company.

We first entered the corporate arena doing public relations work for such clients as Ecotrin, Nestle’s Crunch, Pillsbury and recently, added product lines for such diverse companies as Root Candles and White Eagle Saddle pads, The Spin & Go Mop, Coast Packing Co. and Woodbury University. In the tech field we have also helped launch numerous apps like Shopular, LitCentral, and Evi (which became Amazon Echo).

Health and fitness credentials include garnering major press for GoodGut Pre Biotics, launching the Zuvo Water Filtration System and The Downs Discs “Train Like the Pros” exercise system.

We also helped introduce the 5 Star Indian hotel chain, Leela Hotels to the US market.

Entertainment work has included publicity for major record labels: Arista, Sony, RCA and smaller independents like PPI, Radikal and Warlock; The Saturday Night Fever Concert with The Bee Gees and WKTU’s Beatstock. In addition, Stephanie was also the publicist for the prestigious Westchester Symphony Orchestra and subsequently went on to become their Executive Director for one year.
